My favourite part of being a coach is the moments that occur when you know you’ve really made a difference to someone’s life. It comes in many different ways ranging from simply making someone’s day to day activities easier to complete all the way to significant physique transformations. Whatever I can do to bring that person joy is what I’m in this career for.

Since day 1 Gab has been a dream client and her results speak volumes for the effort and dedication she’s shown. Gab is a coach herself and a busy one at that. Her goal for the year was to begin to prioritise her own health and fitness goals and having someone to be accountable to was her way of doing so.

>Gab’s main goal in training was to get strong through her main lifts, squat, bench and deadlift whilst also aiming for the body comp changes. To do this we cycled through periods of higher volume training to push hypertrophy and then more strength specific phases to really drive up her numbers in those lifts above. We ensured that we even through the hypertrophy focused training blocks that those main lifts or similar versions we being performed so that proficiency was being built in the movement as we headed into heavier loads and it paid off in the end with Gabs best lifts being a 162.5kg deadlift, 127.5kg squat and 72.5kg bench press.

Gab spent the majority of the year building calories and ended up at 3300 after 7 months. From here we did a 12 week cut going from 72kg - 67kg which can be seen between the 2nd and 3rd images.

For someone that was already in great shape the progression across 13 months for Gab has been phenomenal.

Tennaia had a goal of competing in her first physique competition. The end result speaks for itself and Tennaia made it to her comp in great physical and mental shape. Just as importantly, Will and Tennaia were able to manage her out of the comp to avoid a hard post comp rebound.
